A 436-room condominium hotel, with studios starting at the base price of $290,000, is planned for development in Lake Buena Vista.
The ph Premier Hotel & Spa Orlando, under the Planet Hollywood banner, will be built on a 14-acre site and includes studios, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom suites.
“This is going to really raise the bar in Orlando and change the face of that city,” said Bernardo Fort-Brescia, principal of Miami-based Arquitectonica, on the new hotel’s website.
Fort-Brescia’s architect firm has been tapped for the project. Lorenzo Fragala, chief executive officer of Azzurra Development, LLC, is the lead developer for the project.
The hotel, located at 13757 South Apopka Vineland Road, is scheduled to be completed in 2018.
Owners in the development have the option to place their unit in a rental agreement, according to documents on the company’s website.
Units available for purchase range in size and price. Studios, the cheapest and smallest options, start at $290,000. A four-bedroom penthouse unit, the largest option available, start at a base price of $1.87 million and are 2,835 square feet.
Other options include a deluxe studio, 570 square feet; one-bedroom suite, 874 square feet; two-bedroom suite, 1,311 square feet; and the three-bedroom penthouse, 2,180 square feet. All units are sold fully furnished.
The property also includes fitness and nature trails, a lakeside pavilion, boutique retail shopping, a rooftop bar and a 35,000-square-foot sandy beach pool deck with cabanas, according to the website.
There will also be four restaurants located on the property and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
This Orlando condo hotel will be the flagship property in the new luxury tier being launched by the Planet Hollywood Hotels brand, said a spokesman for the hotel.
